Research shows natural and organic store brands with similar-sounding names and imagery don’t have strong brand recognition with customers, or a strong association with the grocery store brand. It was interesting to see how well consumers were able to link the 365 brand to Whole Foods Market with such high recognition.

Key to developing an authentic brand is to dig deep during the branding process and not be afraid to do something different to stand out of the crowd.
