Nancy Frame is owner and creative director. Nancy has created brand, packaging and environmental design for a wide range of clients including Whole Foods Market, Applegate Farms, Good Health Natural Foods, Earth Fare, One with Nature and Duke Medical Center. Regarded as a leader in branding and design in natural products and healthy living categories, Nancy has created brand marks and packaging for a number of leading national organic and natural brands and much of the identity and visual look of Whole Foods Market.
Before founding NFD, Nancy was senior designer at several prominent New York design firms, creating package design and corporate identity programs for clients including
General Foods, Chiquita Brands, United Brands and HEB. Nancy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at SUNY Fredonia and continued with post-graduate studies at School of Visual Arts.
Bob Frame is a positioning and communications specialist with almost 30 years experience building and enhancing successful brands. From 1992 until 2001, Bob worked as brand manager for Whole Foods Market helping to develop and communicate WFM's compelling brand story. During that time Whole Foods grew from 13 to 150 stores and 2 billion+ in annual sales. Other projects included positioning and branding WFM's private label program and developing regional marketing and new store marketing plans that were leveraged nationally.
Before joining WFM, Bob was Director of Marketing at Spectator Publications Inc. Previously he held national marketing roles with Grey/NY, the Sierra Club and Procter & Gamble.
